Data EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience to join our team as a Business Associate. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS, Python, PySpark, Snowflake, SQL, and Unix. This role involves analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness.Roles & ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends and patterns that can inform business decisions.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.Develop and maintain data pipelines using AWS, Python, and PySpark to ensure seamless data flow.Utilize Snowflake for data warehousing solutions, ensuring data is stored efficiently and securely.Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for reporting and analysis.Implement Unix scripts to automate routine tasks and improve system performance.Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.Create detailed documentation of business processes, data flows, and system architectures.Conduct regular reviews of data quality and integrity, implementing corrective actions as needed.Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of data-driven projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.Train and mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management through presentations and reports.QualificationsPossess a strong background in AWS, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing cloud-based solutions.Demonstrate proficiency in Python and PySpark for data processing and analysis.Have extensive experience with Snowflake for data warehousing and SQL for database management.Show expertise in Unix scripting for automation and system optimization.Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Display strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.Job Location: Primary: USTXPAOC01 Plano - TX USAJob Type: 60CW00 Business AssociateDemand Requires Travel?: NCertification(s) Required: NA
