Senior Tech Lead, Java Full Stack + React

Role Overview

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices/APIs with Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.x
• Implement secure auth using Spring Security (JWT, OAuth2, RBAC, method-level security)
• Configure and manage authentication/authorization filters, security contexts, and CORS/CSRF protections
• Write clean, testable code following SOLID principles
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior/mid-level developers
• Collaborate with product, QA, and front-end teams
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Manage full SDLC: planning, testing, deployment, support
• Use AI-assisted dev tools to speed up coding/testing

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years Java backend experience, 3+ years in Spring Boot/MVC
• Hands-on expertise with Spring Security for authentication and authorization
• Strong RESTful API design and integration skills
• Hibernate/JPA, microservices, relational/NoSQL databases
• Solid OOD and design pattern knowledge
• Agile methodology experience

Preferred Skills

• Security compliance knowledge (e.g., PCI DSS, OWASP standards)
• AI tools exposure (GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
• Technical leadership/mentoring experience

Maximum Salary (US): 151000 Minimum Salary (US): 95000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate's pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
