PositionSummary AtTemp-Con,wedon’tjustconstructexceptionalcommercialspaces—we’rebuildingacultureofgrowth,excellence,andleadership.AsoneofKansas’sfastest-growingmechanicalcontractors,Temp-ConseeksaLeadEstimatorwhocombinestechnicalprecisionwithvision,integrity,andtheabilitytoinspireteams.Thisindividualwillplayapivotalroleindrivingourcompanyfrom$50Mto$100Minrevenueoverthenextfiveyears,shapingstrategy,forgingindustryrelationships,andbuildingahigh-performingestimatingorganizationthatisrespectedbothinternallyandexternally. KeyResponsibilities Leadestimatingstrategywithafocusonmarketexpansionandmarginoptimizationtosupportcompanygrowthfrom$50Mto$100M. Cultivateandstrengthenrelationshipswithclients,generalcontractors,designpartners,andtradeallies. Mentor,inspire,anddemandexcellencefromtheteamwhilefosteringintegrity,empathy,andaccountability. Championinnovationthroughnewtools,data-driveninsights,andcontinuousimprovementinitiatives. Collaboratewiththeestimationteamonhigh-valueprojectpursuitsandstrategicgrowthinitiatives. Providetechnicalguidanceandtrainingtodeveloparobust,multi-facetedestimatingteam. RepresentTemp-Conatindustryevents,tradeshows,andpeergroupstoexpandvisibilityandinfluence. Ensureaccurate,timely,andcompetitiveestimateswithconsistentbid-hitratiosthatsupportgrowthtargets. Leadership&GrowthFocus TheLeadEstimatorwillserveasbothastrategicleaderandculture-builder,settingthetoneforintegrity,collaboration,andexcellence.Thisrolerequiressomeonewiththecouragetodemandhighstandards,theempathytobuildloyaltyandtrust,andthevisiontoscaleahigh-growthcompany.Successwillbemeasurednotonlybyaccurateestimatesandhitratios,butalsobytheteam’sabilitytoattractnewopportunities,developstrongerpartnerships,andconsistentlywinmajorprojectsthatfuelTemp-Con’slong-termexpansion. MinimumRequirements 8–10yearsofmechanicalcontractingexperience,withdeepknowledgeofestimatingsystems,laborfactors,andcostanalysis. Strongpresentationandnegotiationskillswiththeabilitytoinfluenceexecutive-leveldecisions. Atleast2yearsinaLeadEstimatorroleorhigher. Experienceestimatingprojectslargerthan$10million,includingHVACSheetmetal,HydronicPiping,andPlumbing. Bachelor’sdegreeorequivalentindustryexperience,withproficiencyinMicrosoftOfficeandestimatingplatforms. Proventrackrecordofcontributingtorevenuegrowthinamechanicalorplumbingcontractingenvironment. Demonstratedabilitytoleadthroughinfluence,integrity,andaccountability,inspiringhighperformanceinbothindividualsandteams. Strongexternalpresenceintheconstructionindustry(networking,industrygroups,tradeassociations,clientdevelopment). Strategicthinkerwithbusinessacumen—abletoalignestimatingdecisionswithlong-termcompanygrowth. PreferredQualifications EstablishedrelationshipswithregionalGCs,developers,andowners. ExperiencewithSaaSestimatingplatforms,Bluebeam,AutodeskConstructionCloud,andadvancedExcel(includingmacros). ExperiencewithFastDuctand/orFastPipe;PowerBIskillsaplus. FieldexperienceinHVACand/orplumbing;Master’slicenseinmechanicaland/orplumbingtrade. Demonstratedsuccessinfosteringacultureofcontinuousimprovementandhighperformance. WorkEnvironment/Expectations Thisroleisprimarilyoffice-based,withsometravelrequiredasbusinessneedsdictate.TheLeadEstimatormustbeavisibleleader,mentor,andcollaboratoracrossdepartments,committedtobuildingacultureofexcellencewhiledrivinglong-termgrowth. #J-18808-Ljbffr
