Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Days | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (7:00–19:30) | 24-week contract (13-week contracts also considered)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within RRT-NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings, with a focus on pediatric patients
• Deliver high-acuity care at a Level 4 care designation, including management of complex PEDS, PICU, and NICU cases
• May float to additional affiliated pediatric and NICU locations as operationally needed
• Complete required facility onboarding steps, including two fingerprinting sessions — one completed onsite prior to start
• Adhere to a nicotine-free policy; a negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine is required within 12 months of start and updated annually

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RRT license required — must be in hand at time of submission
• NBRC certification required — active and in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required — active and in hand at time of submission
• Advanced NRP and PALS certifications required — active and in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required, with at least 1 year in PEDS, PICU, and/or NICU (Level 4 high-acuity care)
• Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty — from assignments worked within the past 12 months — required at time of submission
• Must be fully nicotine-free; negative nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• No license hits accepted; background hits of any kind will be reviewed by the facility
• Locals are welcome and accepted at the standard rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working across multiple NICU and pediatric care environments
• Familiarity with CVICU protocols and high-acuity pediatric respiratory management
• Demonstrated ability to float across affiliated care sites with minimal orientation
