Grievance Appeals Coordinator I

In this role, you will play a critical part in daily case intake and document triage. Working alongside an encouraging and communicative team, you will manage incoming regulatory cases and member correspondence across multiple channels—including email, fax, and internal workbaskets. You will review and classify documents, interpret member inquiries and complaints, and route files accurately using established job aids to ensure same-day turnaround. We provide focused, one-on-one training on dedicated monitoring stations to set you up for long-term success. The ideal candidate brings multitasking abilities, solid Microsoft Office skills, excellent communication, and an eagerness to stay engaged in a collaborative group setting. While healthcare experience is a plus, your organization, focus, and positive attitude are what truly matter. Responsibilities: • Retrieve, review, and triage incoming healthcare documents and regulatory cases daily from email, fax, and digital workbaskets. • Accurately classify files and interpret member complaints/inquiries using pre-established job aids. • Route cases promptly to designated production liaisons to maintain same-day turnaround standards. • Monitor assigned intake stations, adhering to established FaxCom workflows and daily schedules. • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team liaisons and leadership to resolve intake questions. Qualifications: • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced office setting. • organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer systems. • Clear written and verbal communication skills. • Background in healthcare, insurance intake, or high-volume administrative support is preferred, but not required.
