Job Overview:

• Location : Immerse yourself in our innovative culture! This role requires a commitment of 4 days in-office per week at our facility in Garden Grove, CA as well as full-time hours (40 hours a week) .
• Duration: 8 weeks for quarter or 15 weeks for semester (January 11 to April 30 OR January 11 to March 12)
• Relocation Support: A $1,000 relocation stipend is available for interns currently residing more than 50 miles from Garden Grove, CA.
• Compensation: Earn an hourly rate of $25-35 USD per hour.

Job Summary :

Harbinger is building the next generation of medium-duty electric vehicles, and we're in one of the most exciting chapters of our company so far - evolving our brand, expanding into new verticals, and scaling how we show up in the market. We're looking for a Marketing Intern focused on Events to support Harbinger's growing presence at trade shows, ride-and-drives, dealer and fleet events, industry conferences, and other brand experiences. Working closely with the Event Marketing Manager and broader Marketing team, you'll help bring events to life from early planning through on-site execution and post-event follow-up.

This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role for someone who is an exceptionally strong communicator, highly organized, and comfortable coordinating across many moving pieces . You'll work with teams across Harbinger-including Sales, Engineering, Service, Operations, and Marketing-as well as outside vendors and partners to gather information, coordinate assets, track deliverables, and make sure the details come together.

You'll gain real-world experience executing B2B events for a fast-growing automotive technology company while contributing to programs that directly support Harbinger's brand, customer relationships, dealer network, and sales pipeline.
What You'll Do :

• Event Planning & Execution
  
  • Support the planning and execution of trade shows, industry conferences, ride-and-drives, vehicle demonstrations, dealer and fleet events, and other Harbinger activations.
  • Maintain event timelines, checklists, action items, and deliverable trackers to keep projects organized and on schedule.
  • Coordinate event materials including signage, booth graphics, brochures, giveaways, apparel, presentations, and other branded assets.
  • Support event logistics including shipping, inventory, booth materials, vehicle coordination, registration, staffing plans, and other operational details.
  • Assist with on-site setup, event execution, booth organization, breakdown, and other needs as they arise.
  • Help capture photos, videos, customer feedback, and other content from events for use across Harbinger's marketing channels.
• Cross-Functional & Vendor Coordination
  
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Service, Operations, and other teams to gather product information, technical details, vehicles, equipment, and materials needed for events.
  • Communicate event requirements, deadlines, and action items clearly to internal stakeholders and help follow up on outstanding deliverables.
  • Coordinate with agencies, exhibit partners, printers, venues, and other vendors on timelines, revisions, shipments, and asset delivery.
  • Help ensure everyone involved in an event understands key logistics, responsibilities, deadlines, and day-of expectations.
• Content & Asset Coordination
  
  • Help manage updates to Harbinger's website, internal resources, and dealer resources.
  • Draft or refine event-related social media copy and content for LinkedIn or internal communications.
  • Support asset version control to ensure consistency across files, templates, and platforms.
  • Collaborate with creative partners or agencies on revisions and asset delivery.
• Event Marketing & Brand Support
  
  • Support development and review of event-related materials, including signage, presentations, invitations, landing pages, email communications, and sales collateral.
  • Review event assets for consistency with Harbinger's brand standards and help maintain accurate versions across files and platforms.
  • Help prepare internal event briefs, schedules, staffing information, and other communications ahead of events.
  • Support event promotion and communications across email, social media, dealer channels, and other marketing touchpoints.

Required Skills :

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence communicating across teams, vendors, and external partners.
• Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep track of multiple deadlines, deliverables, and moving pieces at once.
• Strong follow-through and a willingness to proactively ask questions, communicate updates, and follow up with stakeholders.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Able to adapt quickly and stay organized in a fast-paced environment where priorities and event requirements can change.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar marketing tools is a plus.
• Comfortable with hands-on event work, including setup, breakdown, organizing materials, and supporting on-site logistics.
• Interest in automotive, mobility, technology, or B2B marketing is a plus; prior event experience is helpful but not required.
