This role plans and coordinates all commercial activities, maintains a centralized contract register, enforces change procedures and recordkeeping, and acts as the primary commercial interface with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance and reduce project vulnerability.Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing, reviewing and negotiating contract amendments, change orders, claims and extensions of time; quantifying and communicating time and cost impacts of variations, delays and unforeseen events; and proactively identifying, assessing and mitigating commercial, schedule and cost risks. The manager leads the preparation, packaging and defense of claims, manages dispute avoidance and resolution processes, ensures contemporaneous evidentiary records are maintained, and produces regular commercial reporting (risk status, claims position, change order and cashflow impacts) for project leadership and executives.Commercial Manager Required Qualifications:10 years of experience overseeing all commercial aspects within construction projects.Bachelor's Degree – Construction Management or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years prior relevant experience.Currently, the company is not considering applicants for this position who now or in the future require employment sponsorship by the company.Our Investment in You:We believe that Benefits should connect you to the support you need when it matters most, and should help you care for those who matter most.
