Shifts: Nights 7PM - 7AM


Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Emergency Room/Emergency Department for a travel assignment in a dynamic 16-bed ER setting. The environment includes a trauma bay, fast-track beds, and caters to high volumes of stroke and STEMI patients. The department also supports a cath lab, MVC traumas, psychiatric and geriatric care, and pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, and monitor side effects
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, family members, and caregivers

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• BLS (AHA only)
• ACLS (AHA only)
• PALS (AHA only)
• TNCC
• RN License in state of TX or compact
