Job Description
Registered Nurse - Critical Care

Schedule

Shift: 7 PM - 7:30 AM

Assignment Details

Shared housing available at a cost.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU and Emergency Room experience
• Current New York State nursing license
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, Moderate Sedation, NIHSS
• Recent Emergency Department and critical care experience
• Ability to float to CCU and ED
• Cardiac catheterization experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Collects relevant patient data and promptly reports critical values to physicians.
• Assesses and documents lab and diagnostic data accurately.
• Develops and evaluates patient plans of care based on individual patient needs.
• Advocates for patients and their families.
• Ensures interventions are conducted per patient need and hospital policy.
• Maintains professional demeanor and open communication with staff and management.
