We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team. The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct support to individuals receiving behavioral health and mental health services in a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping others, demonstrates excellent communication skills, and works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Looking for: Friday 7pm-7am; Saturday 7pm -7am.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and support to clients.
• Monitor client behavior and document observations accurately and objectively.
• Assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, and life skills development as needed.
• Facilitate recreational activities under the direction of clinical staff.
• Support clients during crisis situations using approved de-escalation techniques.
• Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of clients and staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete required reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Preferred:

• Experience working in behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, or healthcare.
