We're hiring 2 Maintenance Technicians for a full-time, temporary (6-month)assignment in Melbourne, FL , working Monday through Friday on the day shift . In this role, you'll perform routine building and facility maintenance, troubleshoot and repair production equipment, complete preventive maintenance, and support daily operations in a safe, organized industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine building, facility, and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Use hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other maintenance equipment safely.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and assist with equipment calibration and continuous improvement projects.
- Build shipping crates, maintain a clean work area, and perform general shop duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or trade school diploma.
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to regularly lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
