Requirements 23Need OB Hospitalist providers that can handle high risk pregnancies. In the day MFM will be available in house. MFM on call at night. Looking for ASAP StartMust have Trauma I or II experienceMN License Highly Preferred. If no MN license IMLC is Required!Open to generalists who are interested in high risk with MFM full supportStart date: ASAP **looking for clean candidates to start ASAP with emergency temps file must be clean for emer tempsDuration: OngoingShift times: 24hr Hospital In-house Call 7a-7a**If provider prefers 12s they can also accommodate!!Department Description:- 11-12 deliveries per day- Level II nursery-The OBH role primarily covers the MFM service and its patients along with being available for any urgent OB needs and emergencies on the unit. Typically assisting other OB providers with c sections and other obstetrical procedures.-Pregnant and postpartum patients requiring ECMO-level care are rare. When these cases occur they are primarily managed by the Maternal-Fetal Medicine MFM and ICU teams.-ECMO patients are co-managed by MFM physicians and ICU providers who serve as the primary decision-makers for these highly complex cases.-Delivery responsibility for the highest-acuity patients varies by clinical setting. CVICU deliveries are generally performed by MFM physicians while ICU deliveries are typically managed by OB Hospitalists/Generalists with support from the MFM and ICU teams.-The patient population is predominantly high-risk with more than 90 of the Maternal Placental Program MPP census requiring MFM involvement or management.-OB Hospitalists are expected to both co-manage patients with MFM specialists and provide obstetric coverage including labor and delivery care.-The facility is not aware of any procedures patient populations or acuity levels that previous locum providers have declined due to clinical complexity.At ANW the role also involves coverage for undoctored or unassigned OB patients.At both ANW and UTD there is always another Allina OBGYN in house covering the clinic service and both OBH providers and clinic OBGYN providers rely on each other for support and assistance.- 24/7 access to maternal fetal medicine specialistsDocumentation System: Epic called Excellian at AllinaTechnology in Use: Also use Obix for electronic fetal monitoringCertifications Required/Required: BLS Board certified Ob/Gyn MN licenseCredentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days***Emergency Temps may be obtained ON CLEAN FILES ONLYAdditional Information:No residents to superviseCNM coverage is part of the work flow at UNTD and some modified coverage at ANW if emergent help is needed For now it will be OB only mostly high risk no GYN if the candidate decides to cover OBH shift Shift Info: Day 3x24-Hour 07:00 - 19:00
