Product Support Engineer - Medical Device Service

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Product Support Engineer to serve as the primary technical liaison between internal engineering teams and the service organization. The role encompasses new product service readiness, field support escalation, technical training development, and service documentation for medical devices.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement service strategies and training programs for new products and upgrades
Provide Tier 2 escalation support for complex technical field issues and on-site troubleshooting
Create training materials and deliver instruction in various formats including lab, classroom, and webinar settings
Monitor field service data and repair feedback to develop programs that reduce customer downtime
Evaluate engineering changes for field support impact and update service procedures accordingly

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent education and training
5+ years' experience in Field Service, Technical Support, or Manufacturing
Experience with Electronic Documentation systems; Agile preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Basic understanding of GMP/ISO standards
Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple projects
