Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of current Medical Surgical experience License: Massachusetts RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience with post-op patients Orthopedic experience Telemetry experience Willingness to float to any Medical Surgical unit Completion of Basic Dysrhythmia course Meditech Expanse experience preferred Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment Description: Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified. Time off requests after profile submission will not be approved. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Travelers may not take all holidays off. Must work two blocks if scheduled. Holidays include Thanksgiving Day and the weekend after, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the weekend after, New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day and the weekend after. Profiles will not be presented without specific interview dates and times listed. Residents within 50 miles of the facility cannot be considered. Please ensure that all travelers have voicemail set up and can be reached when contacted. Unit size consists of 20 to 34 beds, depending on the unit. Patient ratio is typically 1:6. Dress code consists of personal scrubs of any color. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Requests after an offer may lead to rescinded offers. All certifications must be submitted with the profile. Every other weekend and holidays are required if needed.
