Assistant General Manager

Miller Management, a Burger King franchisee, is looking for enthusiastic and skilled restaurant leaders to join our team as Assistant General Managers. In this pivotal role, you will support the Restaurant General Manager as the second in command, overseeing daily operations and helping to foster an engaging environment for both employees and customers. Job Responsibilities: Assist in managing restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Oversee scheduling of work hours and manage truck orders efficiently. Support the General Manager in financial management and employee development initiatives. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by identifying and reporting unsafe conditions. Handle any violations of company policies, as well as federal, state, and local regulations, immediately. Perform other duties as assigned to help the restaurant succeed. Qualifications: Minimum of two years experience in management or supervisory roles within the restaurant or retail/hospitality sector. High School diploma or equivalent. Possession of reliable transportation and a flexible work schedule. Valid driver's license required. Ability to stand for long periods and lift between 30 to 50 pounds. Requires physical stamina for tasks involving frequent pushing, pulling, stretching, and use of hands. Must be willing to undergo background checks and drug screening. Physical Demands: Ability to consistently stand, walk, bend, and stoop for long periods. Physical capability to kneel, stoop, or crouch as needed. Occasional need to climb ladders inside and outside the restaurant. Proficiently use hands for gripping, grasping, and twisting motions. Work Environment: Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with multiple tasks at hand. Ability to follow and comprehend verbal and written instructions. Genuine enthusiasm for serving customers effectively and positively. Regularly work in vicinity of moving equipment and exposure to varying conditions, including wet or humid areas. Frequent exposure to hot oil and sharp utensils, which requires caution. Work schedule flexibility required, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
