Real Estate Paralegal

LHH is partnering with a highly respected law firm in Louisville, Kentucky, seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join its growing real estate practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions while gaining exposure to acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development matters. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing Prepare and review closing checklists, closing binders, and transaction documents Coordinate due diligence, including title and survey review, zoning documents, organizational documents, and financing materials Draft and revise purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, conveyance documents, and closing documents Serve as a liaison with clients, lenders, title companies, surveyors, and opposing counsel Maintain transaction files and manage critical deadlines throughout the deal lifecycle Assist with post‑closing matters, recordings, and document organization Support real‑estate financing and lending transactions, including preparation and collection of closing deliverables Qualifications 3+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience, preferably within a law firm Experience supporting acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development transactions Strong understanding of title, survey, due diligence, and closing processes Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Paralegal certificate preferred but not required Additional Information Personal Time Off (PTO) is offered on an accrual basis up to 184 hours a year, 13 Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
