Workers Compensation Attorney

Title: Workers' Compensation Attorney (Plaintiff/ Applicant side) Location: Bronx, NY About the firm: We are a thriving New York-based law firm (40+ Attorneys, 3 offices). We are a plaintiff-focused law firm representing clients in personal injury, no-fault, and workers' compensation cases Our firm maintains a strong reputation for delivering sophisticated legal services across multiple practice areas, and joining our firm will provide candidates with real-world litigation experience. Day-to-Day Responsibility: Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims from intake through resolution Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and proceedings before the Workers' Compensation Board Draft and review legal documents, motions, briefs, and correspondence Conduct legal research and stay current on New York workers' compensation law and regulations Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, and insurance carriers Negotiate settlements and advocate for maximum client benefits Qualification: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Active admission to the New York State Bar 3+ years of prior experience in workers' compensation or related practice area required Strong litigation, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Spanish proficiency is preferred Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $180,000 - $230,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
