Rehab Director

Valley Village Care Center - Rehab Director – Licensed Physical Therapist (RPT/PT) or Occupational Therapist (OTR/OT) Valley Village Care Center – North Hollywood, CA Valley Village Care Center is seeking an experienced Rehab Director who is a licensed Physical Therapist (RPT/PT) or Occupational Therapist (OTR/OT) to lead our rehabilitation department. The Rehab Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the therapy department while supporting high-quality clinical care, strong resident outcomes, regulatory compliance, staff performance, and efficient department operations. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the daily operations of the rehabilitation department Supervise and support PT, OT, ST, PTA, COTA, and rehabilitation support staff Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure residents receive appropriate rehabilitation services Perform regular resident rounding and identify opportunities for therapy evaluation, treatment, and continued skilled services Monitor resident progress and ensure treatment plans are appropriate and individualized Ensure timely and accurate therapy documentation Monitor department productivity, utilization, staffing, scheduling, and overall operational performance Maintain compliance with Medicare requirements, regulatory standards, and facility policies Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, utilization review, care planning, and quality improvement initiatives Identify opportunities to improve clinical outcomes, resident satisfaction, and department performance Assist with recruitment, orientation, training, and ongoing development of rehabilitation staff Communicate effectively with residents, families, nursing staff, physicians, and facility leadership Required Qualifications Current California license as a Physical Therapist (RPT/PT) or Occupational Therapist (OTR/OT) – REQUIRED Previous Rehab Director or rehabilitation management experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) strongly preferred Strong understanding of Medicare Part A and Part B rehabilitation services and SNF regulatory requirements Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to effectively manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and clinical operations Ability to work collaboratively with facility leadership and the interdisciplinary team Commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered rehabilitation services What We Offer Join the team at Valley Village Care Center , North Hollywood's premier location for rehabilitation.
