Sr. Software Engineer, Evaluation Services

Salary: $125,000 - 175,000 per year Requirements:

• We require 5+ years of software engineering experience, with strong hands-on expertise in API development, system integrations, and partner-facing platforms.

• We serve as the senior technical point of contact for partners integrating with our APIs, guiding them on authentication, endpoints, data models, and architectural best practices.
• We work directly with external engineering teams to troubleshoot complex integration issues, review code, and speed up time to production.
• We partner with Technical Account Managers to deliver a smooth partner experience by translating business needs into technical solutions and providing real-time support during key integration phases.
• We diagnose and resolve complex API issues across WebSocket connections, REST endpoints, and real-time data feeds, often under tight deadlines and with high-value partners.
• We own the quality standard for API support by defining best practices for troubleshooting, documentation, and partner communication that the wider team can follow.
• We build and improve internal tools, scripts, and diagnostic utilities that increase support efficiency and enable faster issue resolution.
• We turn partner feedback into actionable recommendations for Product and Engineering, helping shape our API roadmap.
• We mentor junior team members on technical troubleshooting, partner communication, and staying composed in high-pressure situations.
• We deepen our expertise in our evaluation platform, trading systems, and API architecture to provide authoritative technical leadership.
