About the Role:
As an Optometric Technician, you'll play a key role in delivering an outstanding patient experience. You'll guide patients through the pre-testing process, helping assess their visual abilities before they meet with the doctor. Your skills, efficiency, and care will make a meaningful impact on every visit.

• Customer reception and service.
• Maintain patient records, schedule appointments, collect payments and filing.
• Obtain Insurance information and authorization, including referrals.
• Facilitate Insurance and patient billing and collection.
• Prepares patient for vision examination and assist with testing and documentation.
• Instruct patient in care and use of contact lenses.
• Order contact lenses for individual patients.
• Maintain contact lens and medical product inventory.
• Promote contact lens and eye product sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and overall appearance of office.
• Participate in continuing education.

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience in a professional setting a must
• The ability to connect well with patients
• Works well with a team
• Tech-savvy; typing capabilities
• Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
• Optometric Technician experience preferred
