Job Posting Dates February 24, 2026 until filled Location Later Elementary (Grades 3-5) Reports to Later Elementary Principal Job Type Full-Time / Hourly / Non-Exempt Qualifications High School Diploma or Associate Degree Completed ETS Parapro Assessment with a passing score of 460 or higher CPI Certification (preferred) CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred) Job Description Provide academic, behavioral, and personal hygiene support to the assigned student throughout the school day in strict accordance with their Individualized Education Program (IEP). Assist students in acquiring the social, emotional, and academic skills necessary to thrive within the general education setting. Mitigate behavioral escalations through strategic planning, environmental organization, and consistent professional habits. Maintain the highest standards of student dignity and strict confidentiality regarding medical and educational records. Work in close coordination with classroom teachers and the Special Education team to ensure instructional and behavioral strategies are implemented consistently. Maintain professional rapport with families, providing necessary feedback communication to ensure a cohesive "home-to-school" support system.
