Nurse Practitioner Or Physician AssistantEncompass Medical Group is seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant within our Hickman Mills office. Join our team and share your skills and talents with a leading provider of healthcare services!Position Accountabilities:Performs physical exams, preventive health measure, and acute care for both family medicine and internal medicine patients.Orders, interprets and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's health care needs.Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition.Discusses care with physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plans.Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment, such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.May refer patients to physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.Qualifications include:- NP/PA licensure for Missouri and Kansas- Successful completion of accredited nurse practitioner/physician assistant program- Certification in Diabetic Education or ability to gain certification in this area- Display of professionalism- Extraordinary organizational ability- Positive attitude with both patients and co-workers- Sense of compassion and caring- Excellent communication skillsEqual Opportunity Employer.
