Psychiatrist - Geriatric

The Division of Geriatric Psychiatry, Island Health, is seeking a Geriatric Psychiatrist to provide locum support in Victoria. Locum dates and period are flexible, but we specifically require full‑time coverage from the beginning of July to the end of September 2026. The role will predominantly involve clinical consultations to inpatient services on the 2nd South unit at RJH, as well as outpatient services at the Sandringham Tertiary Care Unit. Opportunities exist to provide neuromodulatory treatments (ECT, TMS) and telehealth services to other island communities. Participation in the Geriatric Psychiatry call rotation is mandatory. Inpatient services and outpatient clinics are supported by interdisciplinary teams, and the Division enjoys collegial relationships with geriatric medicine, adult psychiatry and hospitalist services. Start Date As soon as possible. Office space, administrative support, telephone, fax and email are provided by Island Health at no cost, and office space will be shared.
