Position Overview:

We are seeking a career-minded Electrical Estimator to join a growing commercial electrical contractor in the Baltimore area.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full estimating process to meet company goals and deadlines.

• Conduct detailed research to ensure accurate, complete, and competitive pricing.

• Communicate with clients to define scope, resolve gaps, negotiate pricing, and build relationships.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and training to estimating team members.

• Prepare and present estimating packages to executive and senior leadership.

• Track bid opportunities and forecast win probabilities.

• Collaborate with field operations for project handoff and buyout processes.

• Support continuous improvement of estimating workflows and processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical estimating experience preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and estimating software (Accubid preferred) is mandatory.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
