Two Six Technologies is looking to add a Senior Front End Software Engineer to our team building a next generation global-scale networking situational awareness and command and control platform. In this role you would be specifically focused on designing, implementing, and testing user interfaces. The candidate should have a track record demonstrating the ability to research new technologies, document and propose designs to team members, quickly prototype solutions, and, ultimately, produce dependable and testable commercial-grade code. This position focuses on front-end development but also may allow for some back-end development using gRPC and similar frameworks. The role will be located in our Arlington, VA headquarters at least 4-5 days per week, and may involve some light travel when transitioning products.Responsibilities:Develop frontend features in a modern web component-based framework such as Vue or ReactWork with users and teammates to implement new features and debug issuesWork closely with design and program managers to implement responsive, modular, and event-driven designsWork closely with the testing team to establish comprehensive testing strategies to increase our confidence delivering, maintaining and operating a high quality productBe comfortable designing and developing full sections of functionality given broad requirements, including identifying and handling of edge cases and error statesFollow provided UI/UX designs/mockups and be comfortable suggesting improvements, designing and implementing while handling of edge cases and error states given a broad intentParticipate on code reviews and ensure high-quality, modular, and reusable codeStay up to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our systemMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, EE, or related field and 5 years of relevant experience; comparable relevant experience without a degree will be considered.5+ years of professional front end software development experience with component-based frameworksStrong familiarity with Vue or ReactFamiliarity with geospatial JS libraries such as Cesium or OpenLayersFamiliarity with standard Linux software engineering tools, e.g., git, gcc, makeAbility to obtain and maintain a government clearanceNice If You Have:Experience with WebSocket or Server Sent EventsExperience with Tailwind CSSExperience with REST API or FastAPIExperience with Go and PythonExperience with Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, or other containerization toolsAn active DoD clearance (Secret or above)Clearance Qualifications:Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance up to TS/SCITwo Six Technologies is committed to providing competitive and comprehensive compensation packages that reflect the value we place on our employees and their contributions. The projected salary range listed for this position is annualized. This is a general guideline and not a guarantee of salary. Salary is one component of our total compensation package and the specific salary offered is determined by various factors, including, but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, geographic location, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. Salary Range $125,000 - $180,000 USD
