Job Responsibilities

• Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design specialized therapy strategies tailored to help them achieve their specific goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-supported methodologies to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work in tandem with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to guarantee all-encompassing care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide thorough instruction to patients and their families on therapeutic methods to encourage sustained improvement beyond the clinic
• Oversee Progress and Documentation: Monitor patient development and modify treatment approaches as required, ensuring they remain on the right path

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement for ongoing education or postgraduate certifications to enhance professional growth

Licenses/Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is necessary
