Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design personalized therapy strategies aimed at helping them meet their functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based approaches to enhance patients' motor capabilities, cognitive skills, and day-to-day activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Engage with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Provide guidance on therapy practices to empower ongoing improvement at home and in their daily lives.
• Track Progress and Document Results: Monitor clinical progress and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure patient success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Ongoing education or specialty training encouraged and supported.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• Certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is necessary.
