Location Blairstown, New Jersey 07832 Responsibilities Operate in a team with other clinic healthcare providers and support staff. Provide patient medical care to all age groups in an office-based, multi-specialty group practice. Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic medical services, including disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Treat acute illnesses and acute injuries. Prescribe and administer medications, perform routine vaccinations, and provide advice regarding personal health and hygiene. Request necessary tests, schedule follow-up visits, and refer patients to specialists as needed. Maintain proper and complete medical documentation (without copy/paste) for all patient care, ensuring accuracy of E/M coding and HCC coding (above 80% with a goal of 95%). Review and sign off on all patient charts in accordance with company policies to support productivity/PCN and VBC bonuses. Provide direction to both clinical and reception support staff. Perform a variety of tasks with a high degree of creativity and latitude. Remain calm and effective in high-pressure and emergency situations. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO). Licensed in the state of New Jersey. Board certified or board eligible. Completion of an accredited residency program in area of practice (e.g., family practice, internal medicine, or pediatrics). DEA controlled substances registration. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR/AED) certification. Successful completion of CHC’s credentialing and privileging review upon hire and recredentialing as appropriate. Strong computer skills with prior electronic medical record (EMR) use preferred. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, hospital personnel, and community members. Skills to perform patient treatment procedures for most acute illnesses or injuries. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
