Paralegal Announcement Join Our Growing Team in Fort Worth! Our Fort Worth law firm is growing, and we're seeking a motivated and experienced First Party Litigation Paralegal to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who brings strong organizational skills, litigation experience, and a proactive approach to supporting complex insurance disputes. In this role, you will play a key part in assisting attorneys with all phases of first-party litigation, providing support in cases involving disputes between policyholders and insurance companies. Responsibilities include case management, drafting legal documents, coordinating discovery, maintaining case files, and helping prepare matters for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial. Ideal Background & Experience Minimum 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in first-party insurance, property damage, personal injury, or civil litigation. Comprehensive understanding of the litigation process, including case initiation through trial and appeal. Experience handling first-party insurance claims and disputes, including property damage, bad faith claims, and coverage litigation. Strong familiarity with Texas state court procedures, rules, e-filing requirements, and local court practices. Experience managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced legal environment. Proven ability to coordinate and manage discovery, including drafting requests, reviewing document productions, and preparing responses. Trial preparation experience, including organizing exhibits, preparing witness files, coordinating trial logistics, and assisting attorneys during trial proceedings. Key Responsibilities Maintain and manage case files from inception through resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, notices, discovery requests, subpoenas, and correspondence. Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, inspections, and trial schedules. Review, summarize, and organize medical records, claim files, expert reports, and other case documents. Monitor case deadlines and ensure compliance with court orders and scheduling requirements. Assist with trial preparation, exhibit management, and courtroom support. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, vendors, and court personnel. Preferred Qualifications Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. Texas Notary Public commission is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, case management software, and electronic discovery platforms. Experience with PracticePanther, MyCase, Egnyte, Precedenor similar litigation management systems preferred. Core Competencies Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
