Remote Payroll Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Remote Payroll Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will help process payroll accurately and on time while maintaining confidential employee records. This position is ideal for candidates with strong organizational skills who enjoy working in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly payroll accurately.
• Review employee time records and payroll data for accuracy.
• Enter and update payroll information in payroll systems.
• Assist with payroll adjustments, deductions, and reimbursements.
• Maintain confidential employee payroll records.
• Respond to payroll-related questions from employees.
• Generate payroll reports and assist with recordkeeping.
• Ensure payroll activities comply with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with HR and Accounting to resolve payroll issues.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus).
• Previous payroll, bookkeeping, accounting, or administrative experience preferred.
• Familiarity with payroll software is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Reliable computer and internet connection.
