Outpatient Program Therapist - PRN

Responsibilities Outpatient Program Therapist provides clinical social services and therapeutic treatment skills to enable patients to achieve optimal emotional and behavioral health. The therapist is responsible for psychosocial assessments, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, discharge planning and case management services, making referrals, crisis intervention, and acting as a liaison with referral sources and other departments within the hospital. Qualifications Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a closely related behavioral health field and two years of professional counseling experience in a substance abuse or mental health treatment program, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of two years of full-time behavioral health experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. Licensure issued by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners to engage in the practice of behavioral health in Arizona. LAC, LPC, LMSW or LCSW required. Must have or be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
