SERVICE RESPONSE CENTER REP

Summary The Service Response Center (SRC) is the 24/7 central hub for system monitoring and customer communications related to the Facilities & Support Services division, which includes Facilities, Environmental Services, Parking & Transportation, and Safety & Security. The SRC Representative is the first point of contact for the facilities support division and serves as the telecom operator for the cancer center. Responsibilities include taking incoming calls, creating work orders, dispatching responses via radio, monitoring alarm systems, making overhead announcements, documenting calls and alarms, and dispatching emergency responses per established procedures. Responsibilities Monitors radio receiver and telephone to answer and process routine and emergency calls from department staff and deploys staff as appropriate. Obtains and records information regarding the exact location of situations, transmits information via telephone or radio to necessary personnel, and maintains radio contact with crews on site. Follows departmental rules and regulations regarding emergency calls and dispatches crews in accordance with pre-determined plans. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a high-volume call center, answering service, switchboard, or environmental call center. Experience preferable in a healthcare provider or hospital facility. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interact with staff, patients, and families. Proficiency in the Windows Office suite and Microsoft Word. Salary Range Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among team members in similar positions.
