Solar/BMS Journeyman Electrician Technician

Job TitleHVAC TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are a full-service HVAC, building automation, chiller, and retrofit contractor with a reputation for combining high-quality consulting services with customized energy solutions. Our integrated, single-source solutions include turnkey in-house capabilities with design assistance, as well as engineering applications and automated control systems.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMounting of devices and field interface panelsInstall EMT and Rigid conduitDetermine the number of cables and wires to be run in conduit pulls or open cable pulls between devices and field interface panelsInstall and mount high voltage AC/DC power for inverters. Install high-voltage disconnects. Install and configure solar panels. Install high voltage and low voltage wiringCalculate cable/wire pulls in conduit to ensure conduit maximum fillIdentify all cables and wires with wire numbers and maintain documented as-builts of the numberingPull cables and wiringCollaborate with Project Manager, Supervisors, and other team members to ensure timely project completionTerminate wiring using design drawingsCreation and daily maintenance of an as-built record of installationMaintain Daily Reports to be forwarded to the Foreman/Project ManagerAssist Commissioning Technicians with commissioning and startupFollow all EMCOR and Customer's safety requirements and attend all Safety MeetingsOut-of-state and overnight travelDaily cleanup of work areas or as needed based on occupied spacesQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent experience5+ of experience in a commercial or industrial environmentElectrical Journeyman license requiredAbility to properly bend, tread, and install rigid conduitProven in-depth knowledge of related building codes, regulations, and ordinancesProven ability to effectively read, interpret, and work from plans, schematics, and drawingsPrior experience in project estimation of electrical labor, materials, and equipmentStrong interpersonal skills and good customer service skillsMust be able to lift and move objects up to 50 poundsValid driver's license and in good standingOut-of-state and overnight travelEqual Opportunity EmployerAs a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
