Field Service TechnicianRelocation Assistance or $3,000 Sign-On Bonus Available – Tipton, MissouriWe are currently looking for experienced Field Service Technicians to join a growing leader in onsite power generation and distributed energy systems.This is an excellent opportunity for experienced technicians looking to build a long-term career with an established company that values hands-on people and invests heavily in training and career development.While generator experience is highly valued, we are also interested in speaking with experienced technicians from heavy-duty diesel, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, industrial maintenance, mining, trucking, or other mechanical and electrical trades who are looking to transition into the power generation industry.Qualified candidates are eligible for either a $3,000 sign-on bonus or relocation assistance to Tipton, Missouri.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on diesel and natural gas generatorsPerform preventative maintenance, inspections, tune-ups, repairs, and commissioning workTroubleshoot AC/DC electrical systems, engine controls, transfer switches, switchgear, battery chargers, block heaters, and related equipmentRead and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagramsComplete service reports and documentation accuratelyOperate service trucks and field equipment safely and professionallyParticipate in an after-hours emergency service rotation as requiredRepresent the company professionally while working at customer sitesWhat We're Looking For3–5 years of experience in power generation, heavy-duty diesel, industrial maintenance, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, engine repair, mining equipment, trucking, or a related mechanical/electrical tradeStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsExperience working on diesel engines, industrial equipment, heavy equipment, or generatorsKnowledge of AC electrical systems up to 600 VAC and DC fundamentals is considered an assetAbility to work independently and solve problems in the fieldComfortable using diagnostic software, computers, and digital service reporting systemsStrong communication and customer service skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and other basic computer applicationsValid driver's license requiredCDL is considered an asset or willingness to obtain oneGenerator experience is highly valued; however, we recognize that many outstanding technicians come from related industries.
