Job Opportunity: General Surgeon with Breast Surgery Fellowship

We are excited to announce a full-time position for a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Surgeon with specialized training in Breast Surgery to join our expanding team in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

This practice is closely integrated with our organization’s Southeast Michigan Oncology Program, which holds accreditation from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers and is recognized as an Integrated Network Cancer Program by the Commission on Cancer. Additionally, our oncology program leads the Michigan Cancer Research Consortium (MCRC-NCORP), a distinguished clinical trial initiative comprising medical centers that adhere to the highest standards in cancer research. This consortium includes thirteen hospitals across Michigan, along with several out-of-state facilities, collectively enrolling hundreds of patients in clinical trials annually. MCRC-NCORP features a collaborative network of over 100 specialists, including medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals dedicated to providing outstanding cancer care. It is one of 46 research programs established by the National Cancer Institute (NCI).

Breast Care Program Overview

Our breast care program provides a comprehensive range of services, from initial screenings to diagnostic evaluations, surgical interventions, and post-operative care at our locations in Livingston, Oakland, and Washtenaw counties. Key services include:

• Weekly Breast Tumor Conference and Multidisciplinary Clinic
• Nurse Navigation
• Evaluation and treatment for various benign breast conditions, including breast pain, nipple discharge, and cysts
• Breast cancer risk assessment and counseling
• Access to advanced screening, detection, and diagnostic technologies through our radiology services
• Genetic testing and counseling
• A dedicated clinic for high-risk benign breast diseases, offering long-term care and follow-up

Candidate Requirements

We are seeking candidates who are Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery and have successfully completed a Breast Surgery Fellowship program. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Breast Surgeon to join a well-established and growing practice.
