The Human Resources Generalist for the North Little Rock, Arkansas facility in the Earthmoving division will serve as an HR Consultant to Operations partnering with leaders to create a positive Caterpillar experience for employees. This position will administer HR process and practices that are aligned with Caterpillar policies and local requirements. The HR Generalist will also make recommendations to leadership on continuous improvement opportunities impacting engagement, performance, recruiting, turnover and organizational effectiveness. The Earthmoving division is responsible for the products at the core of Caterpillar including Medium Tractor Products, Motor Graders, Medium Wheel Loaders, and Paving products, which includes the machines upon which our company was founded. Earthmoving works collaboratively as one team to grow services and create solutions superior to the competition while sharing a purpose to help our customers build a better world. What You Will Do: Interact with and counsel all levels of management, salaried & hourly employees, to assist and resolve a wide variety of personnel, wage/salary and benefit related issues Administering and interpreting HR Policies and Practices Partner with Operations to forecast production staffing, hiring and attrition and influence related continuous improvements; manage Workday position management for production workforce Communications plans for human resources related material Compensation planning Employee Opinion Survey analysis and recommend strategic initiatives to improve the employee experience Production Career Planning and Development Track and report on metrics and measurements for human resources functions and provide data to management Perform duties associated with governmental regulations Conduct internal investigations Various other Human Resources related duties What Skills You Will Have: Human Resources Consulting & Business Partnering Employee Relations HR Policies, Standards, and Procedures Decision Making & Critical Thinking Data Gathering, Reporting & HR Analytics Effective Communications Top Candidates Will Also Have: Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, or professional services environments Advanced use of HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday) Demonstrated problem-solving skills along with good human relations and communications skills to maintain cooperative work relationship with others Ability to deal with sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality Ability to influence and coach facility leaders Strong organizational and prioritization skills Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP/‑SCP) Additional Info Location: North Little Rock, Arkansas Domestic Relocation Assistance is available for those who qualify Travel required is limited. Summary Pay Range: $97,530.00 - $146,290.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
