Department: 35839 Advocate Christ Medical Center - Med Surg: IU 3 South Medical Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 36 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Every other weekend, every other holiday Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 Experience Required: Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Provides holistic patient care with a focus on patients and families Recognizes situational changes that require unplanned or unanticipated interventions and responds with confidence, timeliness, and flexibility Proficient in computer skills, electronic mail, and electronic medical record systems Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and interpersonal skills Builds rapport and maintains positive professional relationships with patients, team members, and physicians Initiates and collaborates effectively with others Makes critical independent decisions effectively Demonstrates excellent organization, prioritization, and problem‑solving skills Manages time with the ability to multitask and prioritize amid frequent interruptions Shows coordination, collaboration, delegation, and team‑building abilities Licensure and Certification Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices. BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA). Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday. Must lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist, lift up to 20 lbs. over the head, and carry objects up to 50 lbs. on the front of the body.
