Job Responsibilities

• Craft Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' specific needs and design individualized therapy plans that guide them towards achieving their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methodologies to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and essential daily activities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive, integrated care
• Instruct and Empower Patients: Provide education to patients and their families on therapy practices to facilitate ongoing improvement at home
• Track Progress and Adjust Treatment: Monitor outcomes and fine-tune treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on their path to success

Educational Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Ongoing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported

Licensure

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification necessary
