What You’ll Bring:

• Valid Special Education teaching credentials.
• Prior experience in special education, particularly with IEP facilitation.

• Ability to coordinate and lead meetings, helping participants feel informed and empowered.
• Comfort with training and coaching educational staff on IEP and intervention processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule, conduct, and document IEP and Manifestation Determination meetings, ensuring all requirements are met.
• Provide expertise and leadership on IEP development and review, staying current with federal/state regulations.
• Keep the Director of Special Education updated on trends and issues that may influence policy or program decisions.
• Offer training to staff, sharing best practices, tools, and strategies for student support.
• Support the SAT team and special education personnel with resource identification and student interventions.
• Contribute to professional development efforts and assist with special projects or duties as assigned.
