Dental Lab Technician CADCAM

Primary Responsibilities & Skills:

• Ability to read interpret design and print dental restorations to clients specifications by utilizing dental CAD software programs
• Perform dental model digital scanning using 3Shape system
• Ensure timely milling machine and other equipment maintenance regularly loading and unloading of mills
• Troubleshoot machine repairs with outsourcing via phone and email coordinating sending any needed repairs offsite with the OEM or repair vendors
• Perform quality control of cases
• Download and process Intraoral Scans.
• Assist in surgical guide production with nesting digital printing post-processing using ultrasonic cleaning and curing equipment grinding and polishing
• All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required

Qualifications :

• Previous working experience in a dental laboratory preferred
• Understanding of dental anatomy and dental lab terminology
• Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office 3Shape and other internal software systems.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines while consistently producing quality restorations
• Detail oriented to identify sub-standard work and diplomatically communicate for corrections
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Have a positive outgoing and self-motivated attitude and the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Milling center environment computer-based workstation. Benchwork with high speed and low-speed handpieces
• High school diploma or equivalent required
