Join a compassionate healthcare team in the Midwest region, providing essential clinical support in a rheumatology practice. In this role, you will assist with patient care management, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients throughout their visit. Your responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and accurately documenting medical records. You will also assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and patient education, maintaining a warm and reassuring environment.
Education: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required.
Experience and Requirements: Ability to recognize normal and abnormal patient parameters, perform delegated clinical tasks, and maintain accurate documentation. Strong communication skills to provide clear patient instructions and support. Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical supply management is essential. Additional duties include maintaining cleanliness and organization of clinical areas, ensuring all equipment is sterile and functional, and managing inventory of patient education materials and supplies. This position offers a part-time schedule with flexible hours to meet the needs of the practice.
