You will be part of a multidisciplinary team comprising physicians, counselors, and clinical psychologists, all dedicated to addressing the needs of our patients in a compassionate and professional manner. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of clients to identify mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy, to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals. Maintain precise and timely clinical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure holistic patient care, sharing insights and progress to optimize treatment outcomes. Provide educational resources and emotional support to patients and their families, enabling them to understand mental health issues and navigate the treatment process. Stay informed about the latest research and methodologies in mental health care to enhance treatment approaches and patient service delivery. Patient Population / Client Focus This role primarily focuses on serving individuals dealing with substance misuse and the accompanying mental health issues that arise. Our clients span a diverse demographic, including adults from various backgrounds, all seeking assistance in their recovery journey within a detox center setting. Your expertise will help clients develop coping strategies, rebuild self-esteem, and promote healthy behavior patterns. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required. An active and valid LCSW license in the state of New York. A thorough understanding of evidence-based therapeutic practices and a strong emphasis on solution-oriented approaches. Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as exceptional problem-solving capabilities. Preferred Experience Prior experience working in a detox center or mental health clinic is highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic health record systems to manage patient documentation efficiently. Experience in crisis intervention and management of acute mental health situations. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
