Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Syracuse, New York.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/05/2026\n Duration: 8 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 4x10hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 5, 2026\n Length: 8 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN with a minimum of 2 years of PACU experience and active NY RN license for a 16-week acute care hospital assignment.Details\n \n Work in a 17-bay PACU unit providing inpatient and 23-hour stay acute recovery care\n Patient population includes primarily adults with some pediatric cases\n Supports surgical services including Endoscopy, ENT, General, GYN, GYN Oncology, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Thoracic, Urology, and Vascular surgery\n Involves recovery of critical care patients, including some high-risk Cesarean Section cases\n Day shift schedule: four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM\n Occasional weekend shifts required\n Weekday call requirement\n Uses EPIC EMR for charting\n Requirements\n \n Active and clear NY RN license required\n Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required\n Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required\n Must be able to recover critical care patients\n EPIC EMR experience required\n Additional Information\n \n Travel experience preferred but not required\n Any color scrubs permitted\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-759351.
