This position requires a hands-on machinist capable of programming, editing, setting up, and operating CNC mills, primarily Haas DT-1 and Haas TM-1 mills. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a short-run, precision manufacturing environment and can independently take a job from print to finished part, including programming, tooling setup, machine operation, and quality verification./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliProgram and edit CNC milling programs directly at the machine or via CAM software as needed/liliSetup and operate Haas CNC mills (DT-1 and TM-1) for precision machining operations/liliPerform machine setups including fixture installation, work offsets, and part alignment/liliSelect, install, and touch off cutting tools while establishing tool offsets/liliInterpret engineering drawings, prints, and tolerances to ensure accurate machining/liliRun production and prototype parts while maintaining tight tolerances/liliMonitor machining operations and adjust speeds, feeds, and offsets to optimize performance/liliPerform first-article inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring tools/liliTroubleshoot machining issues and make program adjustments when necessary/liliMaintain machines, tooling, and work areas in a clean and organized condition/liliCollaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes and efficiency/li/ulh3Requirements / Qualifications/h3ulli5+ years of CNC milling experience/liliHands-on experience with Haas CNC mills or similar vertical machining centers/liliAbility to program and edit G-code/liliExperience performing full machine setups including work offsets and tooling/liliStrong blueprint reading skills and understanding of machining tolerances/liliProficiency using inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and indicators/liliAbility to work independently in a short-run or prototype manufacturing environment/li/ulh3Preferred/h3ulliFamiliarity with high-precision machining and tight tolerance work/liliExperience with fixture design or prototype machining/li/ul/div
