**Required Certifications:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) **Preferred Experience/Skills:** - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Lactation education/support - Level 2 Nursery experience **Experience or 'Must have' skills:** - Assessments - Care of the Post-Partum Patient **Licensure:** - Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated **Additional Notes:** - BSN is not required - RNs are required to titrate drips such as Insulin or Heparin - Charge RN and House Supervisor present 24/7 **Clinical Experience:** - Post Partum Moms and Newborn infants care - Experience with home Cpap or Bipap setups if the patient has these **Other Requirements:** - Understanding and acceptance of OSF's Drug-Free Campus policy - Telemetry monitored by Tele Techs; nurses are not required to interpret strips
