Business Analyst - IT 3 (5-7 years)

Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced HRIS Business Analyst to support a large-scale business transition and Workday implementation. You’ll serve as the bridge between HR Centers of Excellence and the technical team, driving requirements, testing, documentation, and stakeholder communication through a period of organizational change.
What You’ll Do
- Act as liaison between HR COEs and technical teams through system and process transitions
- Gather requirements, document business impacts, and write business requirements documents and functional specs
- Develop test strategies and test cases; support user acceptance testing
- Partner with IT on configuration, integrations, and testing
- Build project timelines, support implementation planning, and provide status updates
- Manage competing priorities independently across multiple stakeholders
- Hands-on Workday experience (HCM, Payroll, Absence, Compensation, or Benefits)
- Experience supporting a restructure, entity transition, merger, or acquisition
- Strong business analysis, project coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools preferred
- JD Edwards and Kronos experience a plus
