REVENUE CYCLE SUPERVISOR page is loaded## REVENUE CYCLE SUPERVISORlocations: 3307 Bainbridge Avenuetime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: JR228989**City/State:**Bronx, New York**Grant Funded:**No**Department:**Dentistry - Billing Office**Work Shift:**Day**Work Days:**MON-FRI**Scheduled Hours:**9 AM-5:30 PM**Scheduled Daily Hours:**7.5 HOURS**Pay Range:**$60,000.00-$75,000.00**Department Duties**Strong knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.• Maintains in-depth knowledge of insurance follow up and denials systems, department policies, procedures and workflows.• Ability to analyze trends, develop and maintain performance goals and regularly provide information to senior management.• Ability to work in a matrix environment where multiple and competing customer demands are likely.• Requires exceptional attention to detail and demonstrated ability to prioritize work to ensure accuracy and timely completion.Department Duties• Ability to manage multiple initiatives, identify and prioritize issues to meet aggressive deadlines and organizational goals.• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead revenue cycle improvement initiatives.• Ability to work, plan, research and conduct projects with minimal supervision.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, providers, insurance companies, and internal staff.• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple demands and projects.• Ability to work with a diverse patient and staff population.**QUALIFICATIONS*** High School diploma/ GED Required* 1-3 years Dental Billing Required* 1-3 years Orthodontics billing Preferred* EPIC enterprise system preferred* Knowledge of various types of health insurance and other third-party reimbursement, health care billing practices, automated billing and accounting systems, collection laws and techniques on working with patients’ ability to meet payment obligation* Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritizes, and meets deadlines* Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills in dealing with insurance and patient estimate issues* Capable of communicating effectively with patients and the health care team, including the ability to explain billing procedures, insurance benefits to patients and collect payments* Requires exceptional attention to detail and demonstrated ability to prioritize work to ensure accuracy and timely completion* Ability to effectively work and communicate with patients, co-workers, and management both in person and remote virtual chat environments* Maintains in-depth knowledge of insurance follow up and denials systems, department policies, procedures and workflows* Strong knowledge of Health plan requirementsMontefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
