The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek exceptional board‑certified/eligible anesthesiologists, both General Anesthesiologists and Critical Care Anesthesiologists, to join our elite team. Positions are available at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor.

Position Overview

Primary duties include providing perioperative care at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and The James Comprehensive Cancer Hospital, as well as at expanding outpatient surgical centers. Leaders will have opportunities to supervise and develop faculty and trainees. Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative anesthesia care to patients across multiple hospitals and outpatient sites.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care teams and provide round‑the‑clock coverage as required.
• Engage in teaching of residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical research initiatives.
• Seek leadership opportunities within the department and academic community.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Successful completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Eligibility for an Ohio Medical License.
• H‑1B sponsorship available for qualified candidates (J‑1 waiver sponsorship not available).
