Scientist, Stat. Programming, Late-Stage, Respiratory and Immunology (Hybrid)

Job Description In BARDS (Biostatistics and Research Decision Sciences), a distinguished department within our company’s Research and Development division, quantitative scientists partner with subject‑matter experts to apply state‑of‑the‑art scientific methodologies and tools to support the discovery, development, regulatory approval, manufacturing, and marketing of medical drugs and vaccines. Responsibilities Support statistical programming activities for late‑stage drug/vaccine clinical development projects. Develop, validate and maintain efficacy and safety datasets, tables, listings, and figures at protocol level. Ensure deliverable quality and compliance with departmental SOPs and good programming practices. Collaborate effectively with project team members, including outsource provider staff, to develop, validate and deploy medical monitoring reports. Gather and document user requirements for statistical programming deliverables. Perform validation tasks in accordance with departmental SOPs. Education & Minimum Requirements BA/BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Life Sciences, Engineering or related field plus 2 years of SAS programming experience in a clinical trial environment. MS in a related field (preferred). Required Skills and Experience Good interpersonal, written, oral, and presentation skills. Experience developing analysis and reporting deliverables for R&D projects (data, analyses, tables, graphics, listings). Strong SAS programming skills, including data steps, procedures, SAS/MACRO, SAS/GRAPH. Proficiency in learning new programming techniques and data structures quickly. Knowledge of CDISC SDTM and ADaM standards. Ability to take direction effectively and collaborate with key stakeholders. Preferred Skills and Experience Solid SAS, R, and/or Python programming experience. Knowledge of pharmaceutical development processes and clinical endpoint data (efficacy and safety). Unix operating‑system experience and systems/database knowledge. Good working knowledge of reporting processes (SOPs) and software development life‑cycle (SDLC). Interest in advancing career through increasing levels of challenge and responsibility. Ability and interest to work across cultures and geographies. Benefits Salary range: $96,200.00 – $151,400.00. Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable.
