Director of Accounting, Consolidations

Excellent Opportunity to be the Head of Consolidations with a global public consumer goods company based in New York City. This is a hybrid work situation- onsite required Tuesday and Thursdays. You will be hands on as well as manage a team of 4-5 made up of Managers and Senior Accountants. Manage monthly worldwide financial consolidation process and review consolidated financial statements, including analysis of results and resolutions of differences and/or executive inquiries. Work closely with local and divisional finance personnel to implement more efficient and effective processes. Manage quarterly analytical review of consolidated results, including streamlining data collection. Work closely with local finance personnel and external auditors on key drivers of financial fluctuations. Supervise Audit Committee communications and support quarter focusing on explanation of business results. Document and comply with SOX controls supporting quarterly public filings. Comply with governmental reporting requirements. Manage ad-hoc requests made by senior management timely. Participate in special projects sponsored by department. Self and staff development, through internal/external training, performance evaluations, etc. Requirements: CPA Required 10+ years experience, preferably a mix of Public Accounting and Global Organization #J-18808-Ljbffr Atlas Search
